| hi all I rarely have anything to say that LA hasn't already so i just don't bother to say anything I want to send out big congratulations to TX Sword Geek on his planned elevation. Honestley not much going on my side of the world i am in Class being taught how to supervise people in antisipation for my next promotion which is taking up a lot of time they are trying to cram in a lot of material in just a month, dont really mind the set up of the school though we do most of our learing in group discusions to make sure that we comprehend the material. as a reward to myself for making my next stripe on the first time i decided to get a motorcycle 
so this is my new toy it is a 2002 Harley Sportster 1200 (i know it says 883 on the side but it has an upgade kit on it) i have decided that riding it in 36 degree weather is frigging cold did it yesterday to go to the store. yeah i know not the brightest of ideas but wanted to ride and it was dry and sunny out so i figured what the heck. LA`s not super excited about this but cant really argue with me a whole lot cause i said when i tested that if i made it, i was going to do something for myself that i have wanted for a really long time but she does insist that i wear as much protective stuff as i can reasanably wear, which is fine I understand her wanting to keep me in one peice. more later If i get off my butt and do it . later | | |
|  I am really looking forward to my birthday present from my wife and to myself We are going to Ireland for 8 days next month!!! OK it has been planed for about 6 months now but still... As she reminded me yesterday we are just under a month from taking off. I have to talk to LA to remember what all our plans are but they do include seeing the Cliffs of Mohr and going to the Jamison distilley and to the Guinnes brewery among many other things. Kind of nervous aobut driving a stick shift with the wrong hand and on the wrong side of the road but in order to get around you can BET your ass I will get over it. | | |

| ok so i took awhile getting to a comp
so the flight to tx was smooth and calm i had an army chick that sat next to me that spent equal time sleeping and haveing a bad case of HELP IM TALKING AND CANT SHUT UP!!! but not really too annoying.
so anyway right before i left LA in Germany she says to me "keep your eyes open in SA" so i knew that there was a VERY good possibllity that someone would be there... didn`t expect it to be catkris and shea though so we went and had dinner and afther my 13+ hours in the air i was tired so we called it a night or rather i thought i was gonna call it a night... lo and behold when i was standing on the walkway infrount of my room smoking and drinking a Shiner the 2 guys that were next to my room called me over and asked if i wanted to join them for a couple of drinks I knew immeaditly that they were not American was pretty sure that they were eurerpeon sure enough they were polish i stayed up for another couple of hours with them and finished off the night with several drinks of whiskey all in all staying up WAY later than i had inteded to.
